Purpose: Within Electronic Health Records, quality reporting is one way to demonstrate the use of Electronic Health Records. The idea behind the claim is that from the data embedded into the EHR one can determine the quality of medicine practiced. This lecture introduces physicians to quality reporting for meaningful use as well as discusses future concerns of the expected requirements for electronic submission. While initially simple reporting of information, multiple challenges will be discussed from multiple measurements and the need to rerecord the information across multiple visits. - Integrate quality reporting changes into clinical practice
